Water has always been a symbol of abundance. Over time, the tradition of throwing coins into a fountain or a well to ask for divine benevolence has become a habit for any desire to express. “God Bless You” reflects on the enormous amount of desires that we have, a coin for every dream that makes us close our eyes and to hope, and at the same time reflects on the homeless , as guardian of desires unfulfilled. So “the homeless” becomes a performer, a link between the passer and the well, collector of the others desires, to fulfill their own needs. The dancer moves on a carpet of plastic cups with water inside, as small fountains. He moves disoriented in space, and for every moment of stasis becomes a figure of pity ready to receive wishes. The dancer’s body is exposed to a self-mockery between a dilation and the other, for better orientation in perdition.

“God Bless You ” riflette sull’enorme quantità di desideri che abbiamo, una moneta per ogni sogno che ci fa chiudere gli occhi e sperare, e allo stesso tempo riflette sulla figura dell’homeless, come custode di desideri inesauditi. Trascina con sé bicchieri salvadanaio come fossero tante piccole fontane. Li dispone con cura muovendosi disorientato nello spazio da occupare, e per ogni tempo d’attesa diventa figura di pietà pronta a ricevere desideri.
